This page describes how we usually work. Your signed agreement sets the actual commitments for your project, and where it says something different, the agreement applies.
01Scope, materials and revisions
The proposal defines the scope of your project. Changes beyond it are quoted separately. Revisions are set out in each proposal.
You provide the materials the project needs, such as CAD files, product data, images and text. The timeline depends on receiving them.
We do not promise business results such as sales or leads, but we do promise a configurator that does what the proposal describes.
02Payment
Most projects are paid in two parts: 50% to start and 50% on delivery. Professional and Enterprise builds may be split into three instead: 40% at kickoff, 30% at a midpoint milestone and 30% at launch.
Invoices are in USD and due within 7 days.
If you start a full build within 6 months of your Pilot, the full $2,500 Pilot fee is deducted from its price.
The same split is shown on the pricing page.
03Ownership
Once the final invoice is paid, the agreed deliverables, including the source code and 3D models, are yours: host them anywhere, change them, and hire anyone to maintain them.
Tools and code we bring to the project stay ours, with a permanent, free licence to use them as part of your configurator.
Open-source libraries and licensed assets stay under their own licences. Any paid licence a project needs is listed in the proposal as a separate cost.
We only show your project publicly with your written permission.
04Confidentiality
We treat what you share with us as confidential, during the project and after it, and we are happy to sign your NDA before you share anything. Anyone who works on your project with us does the same.
05Support after launch
Every plan includes free support after launch. The window starts at launch, and the length depends on the plan, as listed below. During it we fix anything that does not work as agreed in the proposal, at no extra cost.
New features, products or design changes are quoted separately, or covered by an optional maintenance retainer. We do not commit to a fixed response time.
- Pilot: 30 days
- Starter: 30 days
- Professional: 60 days
- Enterprise: 90 days, with priority support
06If plans change
If you need to stop a project, tell us in writing. We settle the work done so far and hand over everything you have paid for. If we ever cannot finish a project ourselves, we hand over everything built so far and settle fairly for the rest. Your agreement sets out the details.
